One hardy soul even fished the match in a T shirt. Maybe it was the break in the weather or maybe the introduction of new blood into the lakes but most anglers had an enjoyable day with some reasonable weights brought to the scales. The new stockies are starting to show, some reaching 2lb in weight together with a few double figure carp being landed, the biggest fell to Nigel Morris, a fine Mirror Carp of 13lb 8oz.
