Everybody's doin' it. It was Luke Sorokin of Boyo Pellet Waggler fame today. He struck over a ton, a first for him, and in no way overshadowed even if it was a Wednesday match. You have still got to go out there and catch them, ask Eric.

While the congratulations were going to Luke, Eric Rimmer of no fame at all was the nearly man. Another 7.5lb and he would have had a 'T' shirt. It must have been easy out there.

12months ago if someone had said to me that I would fish the Tench Lake in a match and weigh in 79lbs and not win, I would have laughed at them. Well it happened and I'm not laughing.

Colin Bates tried hard to win and produced a personal best with 88lb. Well done Colin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was like a summers day out there, strong sunshine and light winds. No Doris or Crocker it was bliss.

1st Luke Sorokin (Boyo Pellet Waggler) 112lb 12oz Peg 6
2nd Eric G Rimmer 92lb 6oz Peg 11
3rd Colin Bates 88lb 14oz Peg 29
4th Keith Tuson 79lb Peg 21
5th Richard Baldwin 66lb Peg 8
6th Keith Moore 37lb Peg 25
