Wednesday Evening Match- 2 May - 2007/05/03 10:14 The Festival is now over so it's back to the old routine at Holgan. The old Wednesday matches are back but have now reverted to evenings for the summer months. For anyone interested in fishing the Wednesday evening matches, the draw is at 5.30, fish 6-9. Weights are usually very good at this time of day and this weeks weights were no exception. Mark Goodall continued his winning ways on the Match Lake by starting off fishing pellet up in the water, while feeding the margins at the same time. He fished the margins later in the evening with paste and pulled out 6 carp to win the match. Results are as follows: 1. Mark Goodall 70lb 12oz 2. Luke Sorokin 57lb 10oz 3.
