It
was almost spring like today, the calm before the storm if weather
forecasts are to be believed. Eight anglers graced the banks.
Just
to even things up it was my turn to visit the local hospital with a
stiff neck today as Neil Daniels, for the first couple of hours at
least, caught steadily off peg 3. He was at pains to remind me that
events come back and bite you on the arse!!!!
On peg 22 Mike
Williams caught rapidly fishing corn to the side of the island for the
first couple of hours and then alternating between pole and waggler
just to round things off.
On peg 11 Keith Moore was again living
up to his nickname of 'Dark Horse'. He was catching at regular
intervals on the pole in deep water. Fishing 6mm expanders he rattled
off 50lbs in the last couple of hours.
