Oundle Trip - 8/9 Sept 07 - 2007/09/10 08:49 This weekend saw the fifth away match at Oundle, this year fished against Magical Markings. The fishery has been transformed of late and the smaller of the two lakes that at one time went halfway to Australia has now been drained, filled to a depth of approx 4-5ft and a sunken island created in the middle. The addition of a load of stocky carp has turned what used to be a nightmare of a lake into a fisherman's dream. This weekend a total of 16 anglers fished and 10 of them beat their personal best. Weights on the silver fish lake were very poor in comparison but all those taking part will take away memories of a weekend of a lifetime.
