1st - Mark Goodall - 44lb 7oz (peg 6) 2nd - Stuart Williams - 41lb 15oz (peg 19) 3rd - Brian Whatsisname - 31lb 4oz (peg 3) 4th - Eric Rimmer - 16lb 7oz (peg 23) 5th - Christian Taylor - 14lb 4oz (peg 15) 6th - Keith Moore - 12lb 8oz (peg 29) 7th - Colin Bates - 9lb 0oz (peg 11) The weather deteriorated rapidly throughout the match resulting in monsoon conditions by the end. Mark Goodall's cap became a victim to the wind and though it was within landing net distance he made the tactical decision to ignore it and fish bare headed due to the closeness of the match. This proved to be wise decision as he inched ahead to beat Stuart by a mere 2lb 8oz and earned enough pool money to buy a new hat.
