11th Oct - Carp Lake
1st - Mark Goodall - 37lb 4oz (peg 6)
2nd - Eric Rimmer - 21lb 12oz (peg 29)
3rd - Colin Carpet - 14lb 6oz (peg 12)

Mark Goodall continues his winning streak on an off form Carp lake beating Eric Rimmer off a well fancied peg. Ian fished peg 29 the night before and banked 3 double figure carp in 25 mins and did the same again today after the match.

Colin Carpet tried a new tactic by dumping 4 pints of pellets in the margins with a view to bagging up inthe latter stages of the match. Unfortunately he forgot to try the margins until the very end when he lowered his float and got a bite immediately only to come out with a scale the size of a dinner plate. His float hed just cocked on his next put in when the all out was shouted.
Oh well, try a bit earlier next time Colin.

Keith Tuson fished the match by phone from Lanzarote and could have won it but he lost too many fish.
