22nd November-Match Lake
Well, here we are mid to late November and the fishing is getting hard. NOT SO. The match lake produced a fine catch today. Has the experiment worked with the introduction of new stock? It would seem on the surface that it has. The Crucians appeared along with the 'stockies' and other bigger carp were caught. It was a pleasure to be there. Frequent bites, fish of all sizes, and to top it all, 1 black death with a hole in it.

All baits were used but the main meal was pellet on light line and small hook. Mike Williams was the winner, though it has to be said that he did borrow pellets from the author, but they tell me that is unusual for Mike!!

1st-Mike Williams 75lb Peg 28
2nd Mark Goodall 38lb 8oz Peg 3
3rd Keith Tuson 24lb Peg 25 (fished it like a mong)
4th Colin Bates 16lb 8oz Peg 7
5th Eric Rimmer 16lb 2oz Peg 9
6th Keith Moore 13lb Peg 5

Over 180lb of fish caught between 6 anglers in November. Thats not bad.eh!!

Congratulations Mike it was a pleasure watching you
