27th December-Carp Lake
I see the old man has posted something about this match in the Sunday section. Well Eric, keep taking the tablets as the match took place on Wednesday. Hope you get better soon.

Thirteen anglers had a dangle in the Carp Lake today and between them hauled in over 520lb of fish over 5 hours, averaging over 40lb per man. Winter fishing is supposed to be hard Neil Daniels. I think it is fair to say that we were thoroughly entertained as well with Doris and Crocker outwitting Luke both with rod and verbals.

Rob Jones quietly went about his business with an overweight bag although it did not affect the results. Maybe a rethink on the 65lb rule is due.

Ian Heaps caught fish at regular intervals on peg 12 but there was no need to give Duffers a fright with the versatility of playing a fish, smoking and peeing at the same time. I think you should have received a yellow card Ian at least, and as Mark said he couldn't see anything from his peg, only the fish and the fag.

1st-Neil Daniels 126lb 2oz Peg 1
2nd-Andrew Crocker (Boyo Pellet Wagglers) 75lb 12oz Peg 24
3rd-Rob Jones 74lb 14oz Peg 7
4th-Nigel Morris 59lb 12oz Peg 21
5th-Ian Heaps 55lb 7oz Peg 12
6th-Luke Sorokin (Boyo Pellet Wagglers) 44lb Peg 22

May I take this opportunity to wish everybody A Happy New Year. I have thoroughly enjoyed the comerarderie throughout the 12 months and hope that all have a happy, healthy and prosperous year. Come back Nobbler your wit is sorely missed.
