Does anyone know of a job going for a surveyor. Preferably miles away from Holgan Farm. Yes, the muppet from Cefneithen has done it again, another 100lb+ haul.

Seven anglers turned out today in indifferent weather including Ian Heaps who drew the unfancied peg 15. Fishing no more than 6mtrs out he produced an 85lb bag, but that was mere chicken feed to Mike Williams who reckons he caught around 100lb in the last hour and a half. Fishing tight in the margins in 18" of water on treble corn his last fish tipped the scales at 17lb.

Mark Goodall was not to be done easily producing 95lb from peg 22, I believe that most of his fish were caught on pellet.

What a great days fishing, over 460lb of fish trapped between 7 anglers. Anyone reading this, that has never been to Holgan before had better get their arses into gear and get down here, it will be an experience they will never forget!!!!

1st Michael Williams 154lb 12oz Peg 24
2nd Mark Goodall 95lb 10oz Peg 22
3rd Ian Heaps 65lb (reduced from 85lb as only one keepnet was used) Peg 15
4th Keith Moore 43lb 10oz Peg 21
5th Keith Tuson 41lb 8oz Peg 9
6th Shane (Bates) 37lb 8oz Peg 12

Perhaps now Ian will have a different view on the 65lb Rule. He admitted that although he thought he had more than 65lb he did not even contemplate 85.

All in all another great day. Enough said!!!!!!!!!!!!
