What a difference a day makes!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful weather with no wind to speak of.

Nine anglers turned out today including a one handed one. How Luke obtained his injury is open to speculation (or is that masturbation) however he seems to have rather a nasty wrist break. He probably fell off the sofa whilst still hanging on to it the truth be known. However it didn't affect his fishing too much although he did not frame.

Honours went to the proprietor Mr Heaps on the next peg to Luke. Fishing a waggler to the island Ian caught a mixture of stockies, roach, crucians and carp on mainly corn.

Mark kept up his form with a good second place from peg 23 (how does he draw these pegs) with a relatively mixed bag.

1st Ian Heaps 78lb 14oz Peg 9
2nd Mark Goodall 71lb 8oz Peg 23
3rd Michael Williams 62lb Peg 19
4th Luke Sorokin(Boyo Pellet Waggler)55lb 10oz Peg 7
5th Eric Rimmer 52lb 8oz Peg 25
6th Shane (Bates) 32lb peg 5

Yours truly only managed 30lb but 22lb of those were roach. All fish taken on worm. It didn't do me any good but I thought Nobbler would like to know.

Over 380lb of fish between 9 anglers and we are still in winter fishing mode. It all bodes well for the summer. Fingers crossed.

'Ave a look, Mike didn't win!!!!!!!!!!!!Back o'the net.
