18th March 2007-Carp Lake - 2007/03/18 23:33 With the weather taking a turn for the worse only seven brave anglers took part today. The wind and hail made it difficult to fish and poor old Luke Sorokin got stung both in the face with the hailstones and the pocket by Andrew Crocker. A welcome return to winning ways for the Swansea boy Neil Daniels who has had a lean spell of late. He fished the bomb rod with 8mm pellet to take the 1st prize. Close on his heels was Doris Morris who in relatively calm sheltered water on peg 12 fished the pole with pellet. At the other end of the lake Peter Edwards fished a fine match on the pole in horrendous conditions to finish third. 1st Neil Daniels 62lb 8oz Peg 22 2nd Nigel Morris 58lb 4oz Peg 12 3rd Peter Edwards 56lb Peg 26 4th Mark Goodall 44lb 1oz Peg 9 5th Keith Tuson 23lb Peg 24 6th Andrew Crocker(Boyo Pellet Waggler) 22lb Peg 7 Come back spring all is forgiven!!!!!
