25th March 2007-Carp Lake - 2007/03/25 13:25
The wind blew quite hard from the East today and blew all the fish into Peter Edwards' peg in the car park. Ian started to sing a song 'Wherever I lay my bait thats a bite', and it certainly was. I am sure I saw Peter have a bite IN THE CAR PARK while he eat a sandwich. Joking aside, he fished a very good match to take the honours by a country mile. Fishing a mixture of 4mm & 6mm pellets he picked up fish everywhere. In the runners up spot was taken by Andrew Crocker off the much fancied peg 21, and 3rd place went to Rob Jones off peg 22. Some good weights were had all around the lake except for peg 4 where a bald headed bloke with a dodgy knee had a hard time and BOY didn't we suffer for it. He was like a pair of nuns drawers, ON,ON, ON, all the time. 1st Peter Edwards(Ultima U.K.) 94lb Peg 28 2nd Andrew Crocker(Boyo Pellet Waggler) 79lb 15oz Peg21 3rd Rob Jones 74lb 14oz Peg 22 4th Sean Pollock 62lb Peg 3 5th Mark Goodall 61lb 2oz Peg 15 6th Keith Tuson 59lb 10oz Peg 26 Well done Duffers hope the 100 comes soon. Next weeks Open on the Match Lake |
