It has been coming for a while now and today it arrived. No this is not an April fool it is a genuine word of praise and congratulations for Peter Edwards. The 'duffman' finally broke the 100lb barrier after several near misses and one of those was last week(95lb-ish). The rather demure 'duffers' took it all in his stride, and rather than talk about his catch he was more concerned of where Wrexham are going to finish in the Football League. Many congratulations Peter but I fear for Wrexham!!!!!!!!!!

Peter on peg 3 picked most of his fish up on the sunken island using pellet, However he did have a rather successful pasteline in the margins to his right. In second spot was Mark Goodall with a fine bag of 85lb, most of his fish were from the sunken island on pellet off peg 25. Third was Luke Sorokin on peg 21, most of his fish were caught using the 'Boyo Pellet Waggler' off the side of the Main island.

Mike Williams had a roach day today bagging about thity pound of them.

1st Peter Edwards 115lb 2oz Peg 3 (Ultima UK)
2nd Mark Goodall 85lb 8oz Peg 25
3rd Luke Sorokin(Boyo Pellet Waggler) 59lb 8oz Peg 21

One end of the lake fished well today and the other end didn't. I was part of the latter and weighed a paltry 16lb 8oz Doris suffered the same fate with a marginally better weight than me.

But take nothing away from Peter Edwards he gets a shirt, if, and when they arrive.

WELL DONE PETER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
