Wednesday Open Match
With immediate effect the Wednesday Open match will now become a Golden Peg competition. This means that in the event of 10 or more anglers attending, an extra £1 will be charged and added to the Golden Peg Fund. Golden Peg entry on a Sunday is £20 all in, entry on a Wednesday is £17 all in.
Below is a breakdown of a typical Golden Peg payout

When the Golden Peg fund reaches £500, £100 will be deducted and added to the daily pools money. Golden peg fund then reverts to £400.
The £100 will be shared between the first four places on a Sunday on a 40%, 30%, 20% and 10% basis. On A Wednesday match the £100 will be divided between the first three places on a 50%, 30% and 20% basis.

Sorry !! This event is now sold out
This popular match is being held on Sat 8th March. The event is sponsored by Andy Phyllis of Magical Marking Ltd and is held annually on the Match and Carp Lakes.
The interesting point of the Gadgers match is the fact that poles are barred (or cheating sticks as Andy refers to them). Every competitor must use rod and reel which creates a more even field. The match is limited to 30 anglers (15 on each lake), places are almost full so if you wish to enter please contact Ian as soon as possible, entry is £20, bookings are being taken on a first come first served basis. prizes are as follows:
